He is certainly not a terrible time trialist. 11th in Giro prologue 2018, for example.

And to be honest, this type of explosivity suits him.

But yes, he has a good form.

You're right, "terrible" was too harsh. But it is rare to see even a moderately good TT from him. That Giro result was an outlier. It does suggest, however, that he is relatively good at short prologues. It is in longer efforts that his results are mediocre at best.
