Pozzovivo waiting for Dennis could be a sign of what we will see in the Tour with Nibali at the beginning taking pressure off Dennis and then working for his GC when matters.
Anyway i still have the impression of a low level field so we should scale down Dennis performances.

Well, it's still wide open for the third podium spot.
Konrad is a good TTer though.

To me it looked like that he first tried to follow Bernal, then dangled a few meters in front of Dennis for a while instead of actually pacing him and then took the extra bonus.

But I guess being out of contract for next year does that to people.

Pozzovivo could still very well end up ahead of Dennis on GC, actually I'd say it's more or less 50:50 between the two of them now. So I don't think taking the bonus himself was a wrong decision per se

It was, because then he should've kept following Bernal. Which would've kinda guaranteed a double podium for Bahrain as Pozzo should be able to limit his losses against Konrad in the TT normally. The way he raced now on Sankt Gotthard eventually was neither fish, nor meat!

Lampaert fighting hard for his tour spot :)
If rumors are to be believed, it's between him and Asgreen... and Asgreen would be in poleposition because he's (according to the rumor) the better time trialer... But Lampaert has won this head to head with about 6 seconds. In 5 days it's the Belgian CC ITT... which Lampaert always makes a goal of.

Asgreen very impressive.

He's a very good time trialer. This is not really a surprise.

I think they bring them both - not least because stage 2 is what it is :)

Already almost a minute between Lampaert and Bodnar. Dennis will be even faster and I can't imagine Bernal being close to Bodnar...
