The Italians are really disappointing here. Cavalli and Longo Borghini should be doing something.

Luckily for Van Vleuten, Kiesenhofer thinks this is a Gran Fondo.

I don't think I've ever watched a women's race before, but is this normal? Is the chaser really that much better that she will close a 5 minute gap? Any kind of logic says no chance in hell.

I don't think it's that normal with a "morning break" at all.

Looks like Van Vleuten will be caught again now. Maybe the crash and/or the limited racing is starting to affect her?
