Yes. After Bora controlled it for him all race. Though the finishing straight at Sachsenring does suit a Cyclocrosser it has to be said.

If there is one thing I have learned it's to never underestimate a cyclocross rider in a sprint

I don't know but I've never seen Wackermann as strong as he is these days. Incredibly lean too.

Froome/Poels lean, he was also climbing really well in Romania. Formolo looked mad when he saw Ulissi closing the gap near the top of the climb, right when he wanted to attack.

He could have attacked a couple of km earlier. I'm not sure Ulissi has the legs to stay with the best on the cobbled wall.

Correct, the wall was just used on the penultimate lap. Formolo should have attacked earlier on the final ascent even if Bagioli was setting a high pace. Solo attack by De Marchi with 13km to go and freaking Formolo working for Ulissi with at least 3 faster guys in the same group...

Ballerini was the strongest of the sprinters on the climbs, so he should have the most left in the tank. 7.5km to go.

So, CCC Development rider Stanislaw Aniolkowski just won in Poland. Now, if it was certain that the WorldTeam would survive, I'd say that was an almost guaranteed contract.
