He doesn’t like living like a true GT contender. He didn’t quite starve himself enough and didn’t quite work hard enough. I don’t think there’s more to it than that. Then he got a rocket to his rear end from Brailsford and it sank in that it was do it properly or back to life pulling the train.

Thats all of the riders problems according to Riis. That and training wrong (cause he apparently knows how every rider trains).
