It's a short TT (about 10 minutes of effort) but it should be some form indication for GT guys, esp. those who are strong TT-ists. These 10 minutes above anaerobic threshold should tell us something about Evenepoel's actual state of form. One can't achieve a great time here without high anaerobic threshold power.

40 km time trial is different, Remco can easily win such a time trial against Ganna and Cavagna, but winning 10 minutes of pure flat time trial, I think this is so much different. More like track race tomorrow, while WC Time Trials are always mix of pure endurance and power. Tomorrow, just the absolute power matters.
