Honestly, what did you expect? The stage was nothing like Zoncolan stages in previous editions. I think the stage conformed more or less to my expectations.

True, Almaida looked good. But would him not waiting for Remco in today stage make a difference? It is not like he could win since their was an escape ahead. (also have huge doubts if he would beat Bernal..) and he is so far back in GC that i don't know if it matters... not like he would make it to the top5.
Think it is better if he looses some more time and go in a break or attack from far.

They're just going through the motions. It's what you say when you're a Eurosport commentator. At least it seems to be for the British. That being said, the climb went more or less as expected, with the hardest part so close to the finish.

Astana kept the pace up before that last climb also.

Yeah, wasn't this what we all expected more or less, nothing happened until the last 3 km? it happened exactly as expected. Only difference was that Astana worked hard until it really started to matter
