Apparently knee pain.Mader and Dombrowski were legitimate tbf. Not sure why Campanaerts didn't start.

Won a stage, no more opportunities for him, so many mountain stages ahead. SimpleNot sure why Campanaerts didn't start.
Exactly. That was why I used "fruitful" in quotation marks.I think the point is that they got something out of the race aka won a stage before abandoning.

No rain, so fair weather Simon fancies his chances.Bike exchange riding lol
Isn't there a time trial at the end of this race? Not sure thoughWon a stage, no more opportunities for him, so many mountain stages ahead. Simple
Not sure if he's still a full-time time trialist thoughIsn't there a time trial at the end of this race? Not sure though![]()
Hopefully they won't end up like Astana in Zoncolan stageToday is the day for Bike Exchange to work for Yates. It’s now or never
Yeah true, although he was second in the final TT last year, so maybe he could have performed if it wasn't for his injury. He can climb fairly well so if he'd take it easy in the last few stages he might cause an upset like Chad Haga did a couple years back, certainly considering Ganna will have to work hard. Clearly not this year though xDNot sure if he's still a full-time time trialist though![]()

Breakaway wouldn't make it. They are not allowed to get much more than 5 minutes. And there are two brutal mountains coming up.
the break can still make it, i dont think bike exchange is strong enough.Breakaway wouldn't make it. They are not allowed to get much more than 5 minutes. And there are two brutal mountains coming up.
Brought a banner, a flag or you're gonna moon?I'm close to the finish. Sega di Ala is a very tough climb, first km has already a section at 20%. Hot day, might be too hot for some riders coming from the rest day and the terrible weather before.

They 3.5 riders for the flat and 3.5 riders for the climb, I think they can do a pretty decent job tbh. The gap is in fact coming down a bit at the moment. Besides, they don't necessarily have to do the job all by themselves, I expect EF to push it on the climbs, maybe Astana as well and Ineos will want to keep a tempo once the climbs arrive too.the break can still make it, i dont think bike exchange is strong enough.
