IMHO it is indicative to some point. Bernal was superior to Remco on every single climb so far and I think it's quite unlikely to be different on longer ones. Actually Bernal's advantage should be even more exposed

In the longer mountaintop finish that we had until today Remco was able to follow Bernal so I don't think that Bernal will have that big advantage in the longer mountains unless Evenepoel suffers with the gradients or altitude.

Surprising how none of the other GC guys managed to do anything. I wonder if any of them will be able to step up and make turn it into a three-horse race. Someone like Simon Yates does not have a TT certificate to swing around so if he can't stay ahead of Evenepoel that is not a great sign.

To me Remco suffered in the gravel but not the gradient. He looked uncomfortable when the gravel road started, then dropped to the back.
What happened there at the beginning was very strange. I'm suspecting he had some kind of gear problems or something. One minute he was nearly standing still, the next he was back with the group.

I guess Moscon is earning himself a place as one of Bernal's trusted superdoms at this Giro.

One more thing that occurred to me is that outside of Martinez, Bernal doesn't have anyone in the high mountains to seriously hurt the rest like Moscon did today.

So that might have an effect on how his attacks may look.

Still don't know if I trust Bernal, or for that matter, Remco over three weeks. Obviously if Bernal is in 2019 form he's good, but returning from health/injury can be tricky.

Not even close to In The Bag

Ciccone is clearly the strongest of the domestiques.
I still think Evenepoel is a bit stronger overall. It's a shame Bernal has no real captains to deal with.

Easiest for the famous puncheur Bernal because Evenpoel is obviously better at him on long climbs and will smoke him!!
Bernal is indeed a lot more punchy than Evenepoel. Not sure whoever had you believe otherwise.

Not sure why anyone expects Remco to be able to able to live with columbian, Tdf winning, climber in the high mountains.... Where's it coming from?

Is it just pure desire or is it actually based on anything?

After today and against my own best judgement my hopes for Bardet are growing
