I think it's a good stage for him. Don't forget he is quite speedy and the stage ends on a flat stretch.

Yeah, I thought the same, actually. If he wins today, Lefevere will HAVE TO take Cav to the TdF 2022… ;)

So, Cav to win today‘s stage, just like Hincapie won in the Pyrenees in 2005… :)

I think Cav is salty that he missed out on that intermediate sprint 3km before the finish on Sunday so he's making sure he'll get both of them today. Second one looks like a slight uphil drag but shouldn't be too hard otherwise the organizers would've surely made it a categorized climb.

EDIT: It was indeed Rota. Cataldo working the most in the group.
