Good battle. Hindley looking very strong. Landa in good shape. Carapaz still the leader, but just by 3 seconds. Almeida not dead, yet. Shark still fighting.

I don't know if this was the best opportunity for Hindely to put some time into Carapaz, but he can't let many more chances slip through if he wants to win. He'll end up 3rd or 4th if this stalemate continues.

Nice win for Hirt Almeida keeping it interesting . Hirt had to work for that one all the way to the line. Not much separating the best three best climbers on GC.

Fedaia is the best opportunity.

Will we get to see the photo finish there? It's quite an important matter who got third.

Yes, and Bora needs to keep the support for Hindley intact. Lenny, Wilco, and Manny must ride for the Aussie.

I honestly have no idea how this is going to pan out now. We basically have 3 riders who are appear unable to drop one another but who are being chased by a 4th who they absolutely have to keep distancing.
I actually think the situation is quite great for Almeida. Unable to drop usually means no one dares going all out. And then the ITT goes very much in his direction. But lets see.

for all the talk about Hindley wheelsucking which seems like confirmation bias, I was more concerned that Carapaz didn't feel the need to push Landa's move and put time into a better TTer than him, who's already shown an ability to diesel up climbs when dropped

of course he could have been on the limit, or just didn't have it, but still

Kelderman, Kämna and Buchmann will be used strategically from now on. Everything else wouldn't make sense.

For me Carapaz was already riding the least on blockhaus with Bardet and Landa. Where now it seems he missed a chance to put in time on Hindley. Today again his pulls didn’t look like much. Hindley actually working the most.

imagine if Bardet was still in and we'd have the prospect of a TT duel between Landa, Carapaz, Hindley and Bardet lol
