Yeah, I saw. I wonder how. If he is really that bad.

Looks like the Elkov-Kasper riders had a battle royale to drop Jan Hirt so maybe Sagan was just being lazy in the knowledge that he didn't have to ride in a Total Energie jersey during the Tour,
He also finished behind Petr Vakoc who retired in Dec 21.

Yeah, that must be their best race day for five years.

Although, he was lucky that Rota opened way too early.
Yeah, but they had 4 riders in the breakaway of 8, then 2 other riders on the attack who got caught by the Zana group who buried themselfs for Zana and guys like Colnaghi and Fiorelli behind marking the most dangerous guys in the bunch.
Great teamwork in a race without team radios, that was impressive!

Turner can't be getting a whole lot of coverage behind Cavendish.
It is Turner the tall Ineos guys, right?

4 guys under 24 in the top in Italy. 2 of them are former u23 WCs, Zana has a 2nd place at the Tour de l'avenir (by hook or by crook) and Piccolo won an EC MJ ITT and finished 3rd one year earlier in Innsbruck when Remco crushed all life on earth.
Hopefully a signs of thing to come, because Nibali, Pozzovivo and Caruso won't be able to carry Italian cycling forever...
