Really hope so. Honestly can’t stand Valverdes way of riding anymore. If he would cooperate they could be much closer to Pogacar.

Great win for Pog! And I think the race has been more entertaining, than some will like to admit. Especially the last 100k, with the big crash that blew the race apart. It took its toll on some riders even if if came back together somewhat. Valverde was involved and fell behind is about the maybe finish 2nd? We will see.

Great and smart attack by Pog on a descent. Showed great skill and guts to pull that off. Then he has been very strong to be able to solo the last 50k. What a rider!

It's about the unfulfilled potential. He always seems to be able to do better or more, but decides he's happy with a podium.
Maybe he will change his tactics in the coming years. He still has a bright future.
