Intermarché, Bora, EF, Alpecin an INEOS still missing.
I think they want to get some of their riders negativ. Schachmann for example was positiv around 5-6 days ago.

Florian Sénéchal: "I heard the news on Friday. I had hoped that being champion of France would change the situation... The team informed me that they wanted to put Danes for the big start at Copenhagen to give a good image."
He shouldn't be saying this anyway!

Bora with Vlasov, Schachmann, Kämna, Großschartner, Konrad, Politt, Haller and Van Poppel

no Bennett
I was expecting this. Bennett is nowhere to be see. Not many flat stages and last but not least the strong performances by Bora this year puts them with a good possibility of the podium. No surprise to me TBH.

They go all in with Vlasov while keeping flexibility for chasing breaks and stage wins.

Bora's line-up only lacks an elite mountain domestique, but Kämna, Grossschartner, Konrad and Schachmann should be enough to at least guarantee a couple of riders staying with Aleks in each stage when the peloton is heavily reduced.

No Gesbert, Edet, Dayer, Bouhanni, Ries, Vauquelin, Anacona, Delaplace, Ledanois (other than in a team car) or Guernalec?

We talked about it during the TDS. I'm glad that they took the strongest riders. Nevertheless I'm surprised that they really didn't select Bennett.
Schachmann quickly recoverd from COVID. In a german podcast a german reporter said that he talked to Zemke. Zemke said that Vlasov didn't really have symptoms. Haller was a good again at the austian championships and Schachmann seems to be negativ after 5 day, too.

Huh, PCS definitely had the green check-mark on Movistar before.

Both FirstCycling and Cyclingfever only has six riders listed for Movistar, but CF also got it wrong for DSM, having Pedersen listed, and no Juul-Jensen for BEX.

Listening to the podcast, between the lines it sounds they are going all-in for Vlasov.

There will be large enough Jumbo /Ineos contingents when the select groups form so he can just hook onto those. But that doesn’t help if he has a mechanical or other mishap and needs assistance to get back to the front.

Großschartner seems to be in great shape. I think he can be there at some mountain stages.

He is a solid rider and he has been good over three weeks in the two past editions of the Vuelta, and like you said... he seems to be in great shape.

Have you guys seen the route for this race? To me it makes absolute sense that QuickStep bring some guys for the tough terrain like Honoré and Bagioli and don't go all-in on a sprint train. French jersey or not. I don't buy that it's a question of nationality.
