And the organizers can then enter the ride + the wind resistance.
And depending where they ride according to the application they will get drag advantage or not.

and if they bump into each other in the application they get force feedback.

Of course they will need some form of entertainment:
so this application will include the possibility to 'buy' things.
- can buy a push on the mountains, which will give a small nutch to the rider (limited in time and number)
- can buy a throwing beer, which will set of build-in sprinkler systems.

Disgusting. Anyone who signs up for the race knows the route and likely conditions months in advance, these conditions are not a surprise to anybody. And no, the answer is not making the flat stages even easier as an exchange.

The cyclists should have a voice when safety is a legitimate threat, and should be able to vote on common sense measures. But when it’s purely about not wanting to race in the cold, the fans should have the larger vote, as the sport cannot exist without viewership. There will always be willing riders. Cycling is not just a W/kg test.

Why is there any reason to not assume more stages will be unnecessarily nerfed now that we have gotten to the important stages? Should this factor into predictions? Of course this isn’t the first time it’s happened, but it’s only happening more and more.

How long until it seriously affects the outcome of a GC? Queen stage cancelled or halved just as one rider was getting into or out of form? How do we get out of this negative feedback loop?

I've been saying for years if CPA is serious about riders' safety they should check the GT routes in advance and express all due concerns when it ìs still possible to make changes.
This way they're only damaging the sport image.

I'm done with this. And this amateurs want better tv deals for teams, etc, etc. They should all get zilch, that's what they deserve for amateurish after amateurish takes.

Really, how can this sport aspire to be a top sport when after two weeks of nothing but anticipation for the big mountains, in the first opportunity they go with the "ay mate, this is too cold, I'm not used to this on Zwift, let's shorten this"

I'm guessing the real issue was they couldn't change the course with such little notice. But the outcome doesn't address the problem. I hope no one gets injured on that descent

If the translation I got of the Vegni interview was correct they had taken the feeling/atmosphere in the peloton into consideration. I'm not sure how that affects the weather enough to cause it to be extreme.

Vegni confirmed to RAI that idea of most of the riders was to do Gran San Bernardo and not do Croix de Coeur, going directly to Crans Montana.

He reached an agreement to not do san bernardo and instead do croix de coeur.
In the problem Vegni at least obtained the best compromise

So Vegni made them a toxic offer that actually makes the stage more hectic & dangerous and the riders were stupid enough to accept it?

Vine yesterday said that he isn't interested in a Top 10 because it doesn't come with any financial benefit for him. So what can you expect from riders like that...

I expect attacking for stage wins when not working for your leader. I think his is a good attitude. In fact this board is always hating riders trying to finish 5-10 on GC

So everyone made a bad choice and now they are through a hellish short-stage where falls and accidents can shake up the GC contenders. Tao broke a hip with a minor fall. I'll be surprised if nothing is happening. Adam Hansen and Vegni were fools.
