The analysis on this forum is pretty simple. Jumbo rider gets dropped: wrong tactic. Jumbo rider doesn't get dropped: wrong tactic. Jumbo rides on the front: wrong tactic. Jumbo doesn't ride on the front: wrong tactic.

Usually that is because it matters when they are in these positions, and general knowdledge is, that it's always the wrong time. :)

I don´t want to protect the riders for their extremely annoying defensive style of racing, but it´s just soo bad to put an extremely hard TT after this stage as the GC decicion tomorrow...
The profile for this stage would be great, if tomorrow would be a rest day..

While the racing is boring, this stage at least brings stunning landscapes and good memories.

A few years ago I was on holidays in the Dolomites with my girlfriend and we stayed in Cortina d'Ampezzo for a few days. Amongst other hikes, we hiked up to the Tre Cime from Misurina which was spectacular.

On a very rainy day my girlfriend wanted to stay in Cortina but I convinced here to just ride up the Passo Giau by car because I wanted to see this legendary pass. At the top there was thunder and lightning which made the views and the experience even more memorable and impressive.

Rain in Cortina, does it mean the finish line will be on top of the Giau, kind of like on that mt stage that year when Bernal won the tour??
