I agree it's a pretty basic stuff. So usually amateurs are explaining it. I have to say. Pros would never bother with it. But while we are at it. As it was suggested. In my opinion JV isn't really interested in it. Rogla would only do it if he had to. So the idea on how JV is thinking about it in the first place. I find that rather far fetched.

I don't know what you write.

Easy Sunday ride in the peloton.

Maybe, with some luck, a team with a sprinter who can climb a little tries to drop some other sprinters on the uncategorized climb to Chieti.
Literally every other sprint opportunity in the first two weeks features better terrain to drop the sprinters who can't climb, would make sense if the teams keep their powder dry for now.

This had already been mentioned in some of the pre-race interviews. Yes, Mayrhofer was planned to be the lead sprinter here until Dainese replaced the injured Vandenabeele (who raced and DNF'd Morbihan yesterday, some more classic DSM), but we all know the only reason Dainese is on domestique duty is that the only thing determining the hierarchy at DSM is which riders are liked and disliked by team management. And on a scale from Van Wilder to Cees Bol, Dainese is pretty close to Van Wilder these days.
Are you talking in terms of teacher's pet? Because i think even Van Wilder can beat Bol in a sprint!

On the Giro site: " 12:28:35 We would like to inform you that, due to a typing error on the dorsal dorsal, yesterday's Maglia Azzurra was wrongly assigned to Brandon Mc Nulty (UAE Team Emirates). Following a second check, the Maglia Azzurra was therefore assigned to Tao Geoghegan Hart (Ineos Grenadiers), who has set the best time"
Can somebody please explain what is a typing error on the dorsal dorsal?

This is untrue. The thing determining the hierarchy at DSM is the team managements plan which should be equalized with Spekenbrink & consorts obsessive compulsive disorder!
