Armirail gives up.

Think this might be a anticlimactic ending. Bit of a weak break.

Leknessund pink.

For all the pressure they were under, in the end Soudal still has six guys in the peloton, only Cerny and Ballerini are dropped I think.

I think Leknessund would be better off with Armirail in the break. Usually the best one in GC must do most of the work

Yeah, it looks like things are settling down. I've got some stuff to do so this is probably the moment.

Good break by the standards of a first mountain stage. The peloton had been halved by the time they got away, so there is no fodder in it either.

Yes by the standards of a first mountain stage, but given the racing the first 100k I hoped for more.

No fodder, but they got away on the descent.

Albanese has been climbing really well in Sicilia and Asturias.
I can see him catching the others after the final climb and winning the sprint.

I think they wouldn't dare to do so, but SQS should just give Leknessund at least 8 minutes. You can get another 3 free rides after Cesena with a big enough gap.

Maybe a breakaway arrives on stage 7 or 8 but I expect Remco to be in pink after stage 9 to be honest and I'm not even sure he loses it today.

What about Barguil. His season wasn't that great until know but he was 10th at Fleche Wallon
