I expect Hirt to be way better in the high mountains, but others like Cattaneo are shockingly bad.How bad are Soudal-Quick Step, this wil be interesting if they don't get their *** together.
Rather watch them pace than 7th come in from the breakawayThey showed the peloton, nothing was happening
Stage 7 and 8 looks pretty hard as well. I think today is the easiest out of those three stagesThis giro's route is so bad. Except for the TTs, just on stage thirteen something is gonna happen.
Meanwhile lowball Lefevre is chilling in his big money bin and having the finest wine.Evenepoel specifically getting underpaid so that Lefevere can buy him 0 support.
If teams play the numbers game stage 8 will already be a big problem for them.Is Levere enyoing the local truffles and pecorino? Better be, because that support in the mountain should get him killed on stage 13.
Well, I guess he could try convincing them to ride for him to show how it would be in their team in the not-too-distant future.Remco: Hard stage but I felt good, even better at the end when Ineos was riding.
He can ride in his rainbow jersey tomorrow. Leknessund also in white.
Joke's on you for getting expectations up in that situation. Not much ever happens on a stage like this on a stage 4 unless one team can dominate the race solo and those teams don't go to the Giro most of the time. That was an incredibly disappointing stage once the breakaway formation was done. Soudal probably won't be this vulnerable every time, yet nobody tried to take advantage, and the stage win fight was very predictable too.
I don't think Albanese will be far on the climb, but I doubt he will be with the first guy over the top.
My guess is Paret Peintre for the stage, Leknessund 2nd and pink.
Albanese 3rd.
What we do know now is that QS can rely on Ineos for the pacing in the mountains.I expect Hirt to be way better in the high mountains, but others like Cattaneo are shockingly bad.
Also lol at Ineos for their meme-train riding instead of having someone have a go with an attack.
Hirt has to be up there. Not on last year's level. But if he can't even reach his CCC Rettenbachferner and 12th @ the 2017 Giro d'Italia level it's worrying for Remco!I am a bit surprised at the poor performance of the Soudal team. they better get their sh*** together because it is going to get tougher.
