It depends it's still over 40 kms of climbing in one go. Quick-Step doesn't look to good today. Why not try as a team... you don't have to let DSM and Ag2r pretend that they can get anywhere in this Giro.

Multiple teams missed a good chance for a stage win today.

What's people crying about ? It's a stage to gran sasso ditalia, nobody was ever going to do anything before 4km to finish. It's a stage to watch the final that's it
I think we are complaining because no one wants the stage win, the boni seconds, to wear each other's teams out and isolate their rivals.

But I guess it's just flech and we are waiting for the mur de huy, but in this case no one actually wants to win it, just take a little time.

Also, if you aren't going to take on remco when he is down then one fears for when you will take him on ;)

If you wait for the last week it's too later. As seen many times in the grand tours.
You couldn't be more wrong

Last year Hindley won Giro on stage 20
2021 bernal won Giro on stage 16
2020 was a final week comeback by geoghan Hart
2019 carapax best Nibali because of his attack on stage 14
2018 froome was minutes back going into final week and won
2017 Dumulin rode very well the final week against nairo and vincenzo and won on the stage 21
2016 Nibali literally turned the race on its head in the final week
2014 Giro was final week won by quintana

Giro is always decided like this. A grand tour is at the mercy of the geography of the country it is placed in.
