Do we really need another three weeks of praise for Magnus's moustache?

Was probably pretty mundane and tame, I had bad legs at the start and on the ramp up to the Lago d'Antorno, but afterwards it got better and better and I increased the pace on the 2nd part of the actually steep stuff.
I hope you have had a cold beer or the beverage you prefer, because you definitely deserve it! Cheers.

based on the comments in Italian media, the stage never was even in doubt. Should normally take place as planed

I'm usually very keen on bashing RCS (and it could still turn out being at fault here) but many of the comments I've read on the forum were a bit premature.

I haven't read anything on Italian media suggesting the stage is in danger.
We'll see.

Looks like it's going to be very wet in Italy the next 10 days - especially the northern 2/3. Good for lakes, water reservoirs, nature and farmers, but probably slightly less good for the riders and especially the broadcast.

It seems kind of alarmist to be suggesting it won’t be cleared in time. The main factor would be how many kilometers remain unplowed, since that takes some time. But that there’s a lot of snow still on the ground may not matter as much—as it’s not uncommon for pass roads to be cleared for travel with banks of snow 2 meters high on either side. I would worry more about avalanche hazards leading to taking the tunnel.

Indeed way too early. Would be a shame. The big thing is just being able to race Croix de Coeur, I think its the hardest climb of the race.
