Dygert won the women's ITT, but not as convincingly as I had expected. The weather wasn't great so that might have had an effect. A shame that defending champion Leah Thomas didn't manage to get over her injury in time for the race.

Wind was minor but looked slightly unfavorable this year compared to 2020.

This is probably the biggest gap between first and second that I have ever seen in a time trial.

Pogačar 1:50 minutes faster than in 2020 should be a good sign ahead of the Tour.

5 minutes is peanuts compared to some of the things happening in the some of the small islands in the Americas.

As opposed to the guy in the Hungarian championships who started first and finished last.

Pogi's time is very impressive. He'll be good in the Tour, very good.

Is it exactly the same route (i.e. no finish line moved)? If it's then it's amazing time - so much faster than Pog & Rog back in 2020. And it was hot today, not Pog's favourite conditions.

It's also at a different point in the Tour prep. In 2020 it was held two months before the Tour, the first race back after the covid break.

I realize that but still we talk about guys who have a very high base level i.e. Rog is in form straight after training camps and Pog is not different.
