No reason for these teams to chase Brown here, but too many breakaway attempts get closed down due to other teams being scared of missing out.
Teams such as FDJ or Jayco who have multiple riders in the peleton should have been in the late break.
although watching the replay, very clever of ELB to attack when she was boxed in.Things Kopecky can do: cobbles, sprints, mountains, hills, win my hearttime trial
Things Kopecky can't do: slight inclines
For days I thought not only was she Lotte when she appearsd on camera, till the points jersey became more obvious to spot but I thought they had two Mauritian riders on the team with the name thing 🤣Le Court (whatever she wants to be called) really confused me with her Mauritian-champion jersey.
Agreed, but it looked like Trek tried to be proactive today, rather than reactive as they've been all weekThought after yesterdays stage that Kopecky will do it but well done from Longo Borghini.
She was greeted after the finish line by her husband, fellow Lidl-Trek rider Jacopo Mosca, who left home at 2:30 a.m. to be part of Longo Borghini’s moment.
At least one person definitely believed ELB was going to hold onto the win!
Shout out to Neve Bradbury in 3rd on GC and Niedermaier in 6th CanyonSram beginning to look a strong prospect in all races even without Kasia
Except if Niewiadoma was at this race she was the favorite to win.
