So that's both Boonen AND Canc out... Sighhh.MatParker117 said:Broken Wrist/Hand for Canc would be my guess which means no Flanders or Roubaix.

Canc will wait, wait, wait and wait, then go full gas on Kwaremont the last time. I don't blame him, the new course is bad, but it's not like his absense will change much before Kwaremont. BTW Vanmarcke is atm the strongest of all. If anyone has the raw power to tire everyone else, it's him.
Last year Vanmarcke was stronger on the bergs than Canc. Without Canc there he would've bridged alone up to Greg and Vandenbergh.tomorrow said:Netserk said:What?!

yes of course youre right that cancellara will wait and want to drop everybody on last kwaremont, and probably get to some two guys already up front by the finish.
But it's always much more fun to watch is somebody is able to hold his wheel on kwaremont and then maybe if he is able to catch the random duo, than to watch 6 guys not being able to drop each other, and then 5 of them not willing to work, because the 6th one is much better sprinter.
As far Vanmarcke is concerned, he's good, and you're right, if anybody then him. But I don't think he has that difference do drop Stybar, Avarmaet, Kristoff, Degenkolb and others. He might drop some, but there I think, group at least of 5 after his attack wouldn't be a surprise. Normally I would put Sagan there, currently, nobody knows where he is with form, he seem's ok, but he's not in the beast mode he used to be, and even then always Kwaremont hurt him considerably.

How can you say he was the strongest? He couldn't drop Cancellara on Paterberg.
