Lotto rider on the ground. Looks like he's in a lot of pain. Almost definitely abandonning

Edit - Back on his bike.

Dammit, Trump! It was just one frame you had to win!

Interesting group jumping out of the peloton right now with Oss, Benoot, Breschel and Trentin. Chavanel on his way too!

This is quickly becoming as anti-climactic as the Tour last year

We won't have much favourites left once RvV starts this way:(

Vanmarcke at the back... Hope he doesn't have problems as well...

A shame the cooperation wasn't better in the group that got away on Taaienberg. Let's hope we'll see some attacks before Paterberg.

Could anyone sum up what happened so far please?

Big crash at the Haaghoek with 50 riders, biggest victims Cancellara (pain left hand, wrist and back), Bonifazio, Langeveld, Wagner, Boom, Breen, Dockx, Amador. They all abanonded.

After that some minor crashes and a 4 man attack (Oss, Trentin, Benoot and another one). They however have been reeled in.

There's only one reason to watch the cobbled classics now that the great champion is out: Sagan!
He and Vanmarcke must upset the evil Quicksteppers if this year's classics is to avoid total failure.

What's with Quintana on the side of the road looking at the riders in the break?

He's in Belgium and spectating the race because he likes cycling.
