Only four - Yannick Eijssen's Avenir win is one for PWS Eijssen. We're not counting Greipel's wins for Lotto, are we?

I would never credit a win to BMC for a guy currently riding for PWS.
However, according the BMC number one homage boy:
2 evans
2 burghardt
1 Louder* does equal 5
(*= Tour of Utah, so does it really count? Not in my book.)

Ah, I thought you were just agreeing with ACF, as unusual as that sounds. And no, the Tour of Utah doesn't count for me either. Taking credit for that win is almost embarrassing.

The Tour of Utah was lame, Phinney, Levi, Hincape and Alex Dowsett were the only riders i'd ever heard of in that race. It seemed like it was mainly domestic pro's and youngsters.

Pic from yesterday's stage. Slagter with Pantano, Atapuma, and Quintana:

Pretty unusual for a Dutchy to be the same size as these Colombians :p

Who gives a toss about the teams competition? Has the nation of Colombia turned into RadioShack or something?

They (Daotec & Ryo) are just proud of the Columbians overall performance.

I have to laugh a little bit at the heading for the results for this past stage on CN.

"Hardy wins for France. Phinney hangs tough in last place overall"

Really? That's your headline? Not who maintained their GC lead... but a comment on who's in last?

To be honest, after the crash I'm not sure why Phinney is still riding. Today was the flattest remaining stage... if he couldn't keep up today he won't tomorrow. Stage 6 is a mountain... and the last TT is uphill which he shouldn't have much of a chance in. What's the point? Just being a domestique for Talansky?

Well, if you want to be a pro rider you can't just keep abandoning all your races due to a crash.

True I guess. At this point though, I think everyone knows that in the near future Phinney will be mainly a prologue guy who might help in cobbles, ride a decent longer flat TT or be able to take part in a sprint of a flat stage... I'm not sure if teams getting to see him get dropped every time the road goes up at all and finishing last on stage after stage helps him either.

I suppose riding some mountains, even if you finish in the last group, will help in training somewhat.

Well, I did not know about the final TT being on ascent. That put Atapuma as a big favorite now IMHO. I like the size of that Belgian though. Very strange. Maybe the next Lucien Van Impe.

You then can't take credit for all the **** races skil shimano enters and wins in. Some of their wins are much lesser than the tour of utah.

I am expecting Cadel to go solo in the last 5km of Paris Brussels and maybe Ballan or Kroon or Santambrogio to win in Canada.

Even the BMC twitter page is claiming Eijssen

If Eijssen's win can be counted for BMC, Caisse d'Epargne must be chuffed to have somebody on the podium in the Vuelta and four guys in the top 10.

atapuma yes, but I think quintana is a little better in it. quintana is a master in mountain itt like rujano is.

This is wrong. The BMC twitter does not claim Eijssen's win as one of their own.

BMCProTeam said:
Congratulations to future BMC Racing Team rider Yannick Eijssen, Tour de L'Avenir stage winner today and new maillot jaune.

and after retaining the lead

BMCProTeam said:
(Future BMC Racing Team rider) Yannick Eijssen still leads Tour de l'Avenir while @cbutler88 is 19th overall. #procycling

Definitely different to what you were trying to claim
