Anyway, this Eijssen guy sure sounds interesting. He got some big gaps, too.

Degenkolb is never a climber. He is like a one-day race rider.

He and TP will be fun for watching when they are both in a race.

Because of the chest-thumping going on in the Vuelta stage thread i felt the need to remind of some slightly less accurate predictions.

Won't happen again, i promise. :p

For someone who's not really a climber, this is actually pretty damn good. And Dekker Tifosi was pretty accurate in the sense that this guy could hang on for quite a long time. A sprinter who gets 14th in a mountain stage... Cavendish, eat your heart out. Big, big talent.

Err, even though he is a big talent (no one is disputing that) he was definitely not in with the favorites today.

Don't stretch the definition of accurate, please.

Wonder where the great climber Degenkolb ended up? :D
14 21 John DEGENKOLB ALLEMAGNE 00:02:13

Not that bad. ;) And will you please point out where somebody called him a great climber?

Up your reading/interpretation skills please.
That goes for the rest of you too.

He ended up around where I expected him. Daotec was bolding haf the top 20. So you might as well add Degenkolb (14th here) and Kelderman etc etc

Why the rest of you suddenly interpret that as being a 'great climber' or me predicting him to win. I don't know, maybe still frustrated over my Vuelta predictions?

Haha.
