Berto can't stay on his bike anymore
It's getting ridiculous now. If he wants to finish the TdF this year, he really needs to learn how to ride up near the front all day like Movistar and Sky do.

Yes, its not bad luck. Riders such as Quintana and Valverde literally never crashes (or when they do, they don't let the whole world know).

Yeah will be much saver with another team trying to be within the first 20 riders  He's crashed quite a few times while near the front as well.

What does this even mean lol, they crash secretly?

Quintana crashed out of the Vuelta while in the leader's jersey a few years ago.

Of course he can still crash at the front, be he would still be a lot safer overall. And wouldn't get caught in pretty much every spill. Why do you think a lot of other GC riders spend a lot of energy and fight for position at the front all day? Its just common sense; the fewer riders in front of you, the lower probability that one will crash and bring you down.

Even Froome, who is regarded as a terrible bike handler, doesn't fall near as much as Contador. In fact, Contador falls as much as Froome, Valverde, Quintana and Nibali combined. Bad luck doesn't explain 3/4/5 falls a year.
