Astana know how to turn mountain stages into epic classics.

Stage 3 and 4 of TA + this stage of Itzulia have been the three greatest stages so far.

No, at least in my opinion the two last stages of Colombia were better but López won that race even if he didn't win the stages.
I missed that race. Good to know that my friends at Tiz have the race available. :D

Actually, I think it was shown to the world on a Colombian website. There was Spanish commentary, and I seem to remember that Tiz for some weird reason mute the commentary if it isn't English as if the listeners would be contaminated with foreignness or something, should they be listening to a non-English speak.

Didn't you know? Non-English speak is daaangerous!

Comunitat Valenciana — I.Izagirre
Murcia — L.L.Sanchez
Colombia 2.1 — M.A.Lopez
Provence — G.Izagirre
Oman — Lutsenko
Andalucia — Fuglsang
Rwanda — Kudus
Catalunya — M.A.Lopez
Itzulia —I.Izagirre
Astana sure are strong right now. They have a team without any big superstar but with lots of good climbers and guys who can win races. I mean it must not be underestimated that there are 7 different riders on the list you posted.
In all fairness, I don't rate Kudus or Gorka's wins as highly as the others, but overall, it is pretty impressive, considering that Astana was also on the podium in Tirreno.

They fixed the results it seems and gave Buchmann the podium, 3rd place:

Perhaps they knew they screwed up that corner where they went the wrong way? Because Pogacar also came in 27 second back and is now showing @ 16 seconds, so perhaps he also took that wrong corner.

Didn't Yates lose 50s due to the stage 1 mechanical?

Is that for real?

Idk it seems weird since they already had the ceremony and everything. But yeah it's the official page.
What's even mroe weird that PCS is showing Buchmann as 2nd even ahead of Martin?

The commissaires have amended the general classification and Buchmann has been bumped up to 3rd overall, 31 seconds down on Izagirre. His finishing time was amended so that he was not penalised for being diverted off course in the final kilometre.

This is turning out to be a farce. First they divert Buchmann's group off the correct course and then they strip Fuglsang off his podium after he has already been heralded 3rd on the podium. Typical basque chaos... Why did it take such a long time to come to this decision?

What happens to Carthy's time? He was 1:29 down on Yates and thus 5 seconds off TGBM/Landa, whose time Buchmann gets? Does Carthy get the time of TGBM/Landa now given that the only reason he was 5 seconds behind TGBM/Landa was because of the diversion.

They all got the same time as Buchmann:

Seems only fair then. PCS just listed Carthy at 1:29 in the stage result, while in GC the change had already been made with Buchmann and Fuglsang switching positions. So it's Carthy's first top 10 in a WT stage race since he emerged during Volta Catalunya in 16'

Impressive perfomance by 22-year-old Jonas Vingegaard of Jumbo-Visma who finished in the Buchmann group. He is riding his first WorldTour race here.

PCS have it wrong. Konrad and Schachmann end in 9th and 10th.

Fantastic to have once again confirmation that race organisers can and will arbitrarily change race results.

Maybe it counts like a crash or a puncture because it's in the final 3 kilometres in a flat finale. I think it makes sense that they don't punish him if it really was the organisers who misled him. It may seem arbitrary but I think you have to have a law degree to appreciate Buchmann losing the podium this way.
