Simon Yates 3rd best of the favorites so far. Better than everyone but Jungels and Roglic. Pretty impressive.

If Felline can get enough bonus seconds in the coming stages, he might win the race. He has a great chance with the upcoming lumpy stages and the hilly TT.
Felline also has a shot on the easy mountain stages, he was 5th on the Col de l'Ospedale in the Criterium International in 2015, the guy can climb. Is his climbing shape on point after racing a ton of classics? That's the big question.
Yeah. I hope the team will ride in support of him. He should at least give it a try.

He is a super-allrounder.

I wonder if a road bike would actually be faster on this type of course as you could take the corners at a greater speed.

Michael Schwarzmann 3rd at the intermediate time.
At finish 1min back... crash?
Yeah, he was 3rd at the intermediate but ended up as 3rd last. Something went wrong. Must have been as crash, puncture or mechanical.
