Find your sponsors, tell them you need to sign him on a long term deal for 5M a year yesterday.

If Seixas still won't negotiate, bench him for the remainder of his contract.
I thought this was the whole goal of Decathlon, so now they have to put their money where their mouth is

Is this not just a ploy by his agent to get more money? I can't believe Decathlon can't afford to give him a very good contract. All these news stories suggest his agent is trying to put a bit of pressure on.

He's nineteen, two or three years growing and his body could have bulked out by twenty two and he's become a classics rider too heavy for the mountains.
He's not going to bulk up, just get stronger. What cyclist, in the history of the sport, grew out of being a top climber at his age? He's got the stuff. It's not going anywhere. Bar injury, he'll only get better.

If the kid's smart he'll wait until after the Tour to talk contracts -

In an interview with Daniel Benson, Decathlon CMA CGM Team's manager Dominique Serieys has confirmed that this is currently a topic of discussion within the team. “Honestly, I'm confident. If Paul doesn't want to stay, that's his decision. That's why I'm confident. But if he has faith in our project, then we'll continue together". It has been said that negotiations could resume after the end of the spring classics, the end of his current block of racing. However, with a Tour de France debut likely on the horizon for this summer, his value and potential could vary a lot - depending on his results and ability to already ride a full Grand Tour within his abilities.

Yeah if he is smart he signs a big contract now until 2028 or 2029 to give Decathlon some extra guarantees.

And he can put in a clause that if he podiums a Tour in any of those years his salary increases further with a one-year automatic extension for example.

Why? Currently they think he can ride podium and challenge Pogacar. TDF might show that’s not the case. I would try to get a new contract now that the hype is so high. Get that +5M contract
It's a risk either way. Let's say he podiums at 19 years-old. How much would that be worth?

Yep, if there's a possibility of a super-good contract, he should go for it. It's also possible that UAE is now giving him an even better offer from 2027 on so he'll have something to think about.

Signing to not be the absolute leader should be a nonstarter.

I'm still convinced all the UAE news we've been hearing is mainly a move by his agent to get Decathlon to offer more money. I'm absolutely certain UAE are interested, because every team surely would be, but I'd still be very surprised if it ever turns out to be more than words.
I'm constantly annoyed by the fact that Del Toro seems quite happy to sit at UAE as understudy to Pog, when he should be on another team actually competing against him. The thought of adding Seixas into the mix as well would send me over the edge.

It does seem like that to me.

It's like 80% of players United get linked to
