Send him to Tour de Guadeloupe for the next 2 years if he starts trying any funny business.
They're already calling him Paul Uijtdebroeks

Coulb be also like Romain Bardet..... and many others.....He's nineteen, two or three years growing and his body could have bulked out by twenty two and he's become a classics rider too heavy for the mountains.

He's not going to bulk up, just get stronger. What cyclist, in the history of the sport, grew out of being a top climber at his age? He's got the stuff. It's not going anywhere. Bar injury, he'll only get better. He's nineteen, two or three years growing and his body could have bulked out by twenty two and he's become a classics rider too heavy for the mountains.
Generally yes, but can continue in early twenties. He'll be 20 this year. Do you think he'll grow and bulk up more at this age? Maybe he'll slightly but his physical development (size wise) should be close to complete when he's 20.
Bardet and Seixas have the same management/agent https://www.lcmanagement.eu/en/Coulb be also like Romain Bardet..... and many others.....
Interesting, but I'm not sure it has something to do with the morphotype of these 2 ridersBardet and Seixas have the same management/agent https://www.lcmanagement.eu/en/
In an interview with Daniel Benson, Decathlon CMA CGM Team's manager Dominique Serieys has confirmed that this is currently a topic of discussion within the team. “Honestly, I'm confident. If Paul doesn't want to stay, that's his decision. That's why I'm confident. But if he has faith in our project, then we'll continue together". It has been said that negotiations could resume after the end of the spring classics, the end of his current block of racing. However, with a Tour de France debut likely on the horizon for this summer, his value and potential could vary a lot - depending on his results and ability to already ride a full Grand Tour within his abilities.
Why? Currently they think he can ride podium and challenge Pogacar. TDF might show that’s not the case. I would try to get a new contract now that the hype is so high. Get that +5M contractIf the kid's smart he'll wait until after the Tour to talk contracts -

It's a risk either way. Let's say he podiums at 19 years-old. How much would that be worth? Why? Currently they think he can ride podium and challenge Pogacar. TDF might show that’s not the case. I would try to get a new contract now that the hype is so high. Get that +5M contract

Remco is the most obvious example. He's not going to bulk up, just get stronger. What cyclist, in the history of the sport, grew out of being a top climber at his age? He's got the stuff. It's not going anywhere. Bar injury, he'll only get better.
Signing to not be the absolute leader should be a nonstarter.Yep, if there's a possibility of a super-good contract, he should go for it. It's also possible that UAE is now giving him an even better offer from 2027 on so he'll have something to think about.
I'm still convinced all the UAE news we've been hearing is mainly a move by his agent to get Decathlon to offer more money. I'm absolutely certain UAE are interested, because every team surely would be, but I'd still be very surprised if it ever turns out to be more than words.Signing to not be the absolute leader should be a nonstarter.
It does seem like that to me.I'm still convinced all the UAE news we've been hearing is mainly a move by his agent to get Decathlon to offer more money. I'm constantly annoyed by the fact that Del Toro seems quite happy to sit at UAE as understudy to Pog, when he should be on another team actually competing against him. The thought of adding Seixas into the mix as well would send me over the edge.
How can you compare Remco and his body type with Paul and his? It's like night and day. Whereas, Remco still needs to show he can climb the big cols with the best. His Vuelta win isn't enough, given what he hasn't shown since.Remco is the most obvious example.
He’s done it twice but at this point he reminds me of Klöden in Grand Tours (not WT stage races). Has the ability to fight for the podium or win but something almost always comes up.How can you compair Remco and his body type with Paul and his? It's like night and day. That wasn't my point, but what he has shown thus far and, right now, he seems to be up there just below Pogacar and Vingegaard. I think Paul would have been able to stay with Vingegaard in yesterday's Paris-Nice stage finish, or else very close. Obviously he needs to show what he's made of in a GT, but apparently that's coming soon.upSeixas also still has to show this though
I think a lot of riders could've stayed with Vingegaard yesterday. Don't see a reason why the likes of Ayuso or Del Toro would get dropped thereThat wasn't my point, but what he has shown thus far and, right now, he seems to be up there just below Pogacar and Vingegaard. To be fair to Remco, he really hasn't had a run up to a GT without setbacks. At the same time, even with perfect prep., I think he still has quite a gap to close on Pogi and Vingo. It's is possible Seixas could burn out prematurely, with what doubtless will be immense pressure placed upon him to win the Tour for France. On the other hand, he seems like he's got his act together beyond his years, so hopefully not. He’s done it twice but at this point he reminds me of Klöden in Grand Tours (not WT stage races). Seixas I hope doesn’t burn out in his mid twenties.
