Yes, Jumbo not looking too enthusiastic this week. It may be a little early in the year for Kuss to be in top form, but then, as has been mentioned, he seems to reach top form only in those races where he's supporting Primoz.
I guess Kuss is just better when he doesn't have too worry about positioning himself on the hilly stages and not loosing time because of splits, when Roglic is racing he knows that he just has to perform on the big MTFs and that's it.

YUK! Another soggy chamois day. Epic in the wet, foggy kind of way I guess. Exhaustion and wet gloves/bars bite G.

As mentioned million times, being super domestique is one thing, as winning races is million times different.

The laughing is just the sentiment of the moment, isn't it, when something like this happens without serious consequences - I do immediately start to laugh a bit, just because "what was that, how can that be?", without it being mean, I would really have liked him to take that win.

Exactly. And 90% of the humour for me came from it being Thomas. I was thinking he'd made it the whole race without one, with only the TT to go, and then that. I honestly don't think it is bad luck in his case, but if it is, hopefully he's got it out of the way before the Tour

Yeah Kuss is the pure climber that's top 5 on his best day but can't be a GC contender due to TTs, inconsistency and everything esle.

Great or domestique/stage hunting. A Piepoli type rider.

Good ride for Masnada. Riding a hard Romandie isn't exactly the best preparation for the Giro, but that was a good performance.

with Almeida and Evenepoel both wanting to go for the win, there's probably not much room for personal ambitions in the Giro this year anyway for him?! Or does he still aim for another Top 10 or so?

Laughs in Chris Horner

Speaking of Chris Horner, who else is super-excited for his Romandie stage video on youtube tonight? I expect an epic knucklehead meltdown directed at several people (including the Swiss team which rode at the front of the peloton against their own rider in the breakaway).

I do enjoy his channel, if when I disagree with his views.

Almeida isn't gonna top 5 again.

Congratulations to Woods for taking the stage win and the jersey.

Didn't plan to watch this race but it became intriguing. Too bad for Thomas today. I am sure that tomorrow will be his day. As for the JV. Still some job left to do before the Tour.
