Moreira continues to troll everyone. Should be the clear favourite for tomorrow

When are the riders that aren't on Efapel or W52 going to make it to the finish? Everybody we've seen finish since Marque has been a dom for one of those two teams!

Moreira looks annoyed that he has to give a doping sample.
Well, he knows questions may be asked if it matches his jersey.

I would say, though, that Mauri's got the genes for this, his dad is basically the embodiment of cycling in Uruguay, and although he was best known for his rouleur power, winning TTs and fighting in the echelons that so frequently prove decisive in rioplatense cycling, Fede Sr. (Mauri's older brother is also called Federico) also, despite his size, won the GPM at the Vuelta de Chile in 1984 and the GC the following year, although it looks like there was no Farellones or Lagunillas, the most common Chilean MTFs, the year he won.

The 10th rider finished almost 6min behind, really big gaps for this kind of stage because w52 went hard on the Bariero climb right from the start. I have to say that I really like the start of that climb, that narrow, cobbled road through that village is stunning and pretty awesome.

Brandao is pulling Marque because, well, god knows why.

Edit: Looks like Efapel thinks Moreira can win this entire thing

In the first group, two guys from the yellow jersey's team are dragging the guy in 2nd place. In the 2nd group, the yellow jersey is being dragged by guys from the biggest rival team.

This just has to be the Volta.

So, how many watts will gain if I buy an Efapel or a W52 jersey for my training rides:D

Well, even if you don't gain any watts, at least with the Efapel kit you'll be visible a mile away.
They should do the pink kit again, it's a shame they've been sticking with the yellow one the last few years.

Mauricio to destroy the competition today and finish second in the stage, just behind Rafael Reis.

The pink Efapel jersey reminds me of a certain iconic Volta picture ;)

Rafael Reis with the best time for now: 25:24.55

Let's see if anyone can beat him.

Amaro Antunes starts in 3 minutes.

So Antunes is 3rd at the first intermediate. This will be close?

Also 3rd at the second intermediate, 19'' behind.

If Moreira looses this one because of the feeding related time penalty someone at Efapel should be fired. The same happened with Carvalho last year...
