Impossible. If the universe looked like it might align in that direction Pinot would simply get Gastro ahead of the final day and collapse while Meintjes took the win.
Really gutted that the race was so nicely primed and appears to have imploded before we get to the juicy bits
Maybe a just in time reminder to be very strict in your approach to the TdF. It certainly has become more slack. Riders taking fotos maskless with fans (Pog in Slovenia) and so on.
It's the one TDF where I would say go for an anonymous top 10 instead of tanking purposely and going for stages, because there's always a chance something like this could happen to a load of top contenders and you end up right in the mix.
Froome, Pinot & Chaves just need to get their Covid jabs and I think they can podium!
