He still beat Thomas and Küng, that means youre not in bad shape at all. Maybe not peak shape, but still not bad at all.
Obviously it's not bad, but i wouldn't call it a good TT for his doing either. Considering the headwind section, you would expect him to fly away in that part. He didn't. He only took a few extra seconds on most rivals and even lost time to Thomas there.

So King Remco stayed on his throne until the end! Congrats. Winning the TT but struggling on climbs, interesting.
Thomas in a really good form ahead of the Tour, he won the race comfortably barely losing the stage.
Kung surprisingly losing time in the second part of the TT but he's more of a climber nowadays.
Very solid ride by Martinez, could have been higher in the GC if not for his domestique duties.
Higuita not bad as well but obviously not enough to keep the jersey.

Evenepoel looks like he's been doing a few dumbell curls, decent upper body mass for a cyclist to be fair to the lad and not bad for the time trials, gotta look decent for the girls in your adolescence I understand but he might want to lose a bit of that for the big climbs.

He's got a bit more likeable in the past few months as well after that kickoff in Algarve, someone's either had a word or he's just caught on I think but he seems a lot more relaxed.

Yeah the ride of Martinez gives already a good indication on evenpoels performance. Seems to be quite a bit below his normal TT performances.
Or maybe you haven't watched cycling in the last 2-3 years.

Post note: I probably need to explain better. No I am not surprise, Remco still won against some of the best time trialers, the last TT takes into account recovery which will hurt Remco a little bit on this race and last but not least Daniel Martinez is a very good time trilaler.
