up way past my bedtime, but the rain has started -- bring it on!

(i'm in Gent)

It sounds like it is supposed to be "light" but sometimes that can be even worse because it doesn't wash away oil.

Ok... I'm relying on Flanders to turnaround a terrible weekend in sport.

But I'm not sure who I want to win.

Cancellara because it will make me money... but that will probably be boring.
Haussler because I'm a fanboy... but that probably will not happen.
Boonen/Gilbert would be nice... they would probably do it with style.
Anyone else... Well the surprise should be worth it.

Enjoy the race, guys! I'm way jealous of everyone who's there in person.

I'm signing off until after the Versus broadcast--see you all tomorrow night!

GO TOMMEKE :D

Ok, I have thought about my three predictions for the race.

1. Alessandro Ballan will win and he will deserve it. In fact he's going to benefit from a rather strong looking BMC team and I didn't think I would ever say that.
2. Pozzato will podium and he really doesn't deserve it, but that's what I think.
3. Fabian will get marked out of the race, it will be a bit negative but hey that's racing.

Bring on the racing.

Yey, can't wait will probably sleep this afternoon for a bit otherwise by the time the race finishes I will only get 4-5 hours sleep but should be worth it. How hard is it expected to rain over there anyway( light shower etc.).

Really rough day I think I may just stroll around like a zombie and hope the boss doesn't notice.

I am going to go out on a limb (sort of) and tip Ballan FTW though. But that's more in hope that cancallera doesn't just ride away from everyone

Cancellara is never boring when he powers on...zoom! :)
...but I have to admit that it really would be fun to see Gilbert win with his classy style!!
Yippee...the Ronde!!

For everyone that wants Gilbert to win, you should read his interviews.. he's way more into Liege. If he's peaking for Liege, he doesn't have the fitness to win Flanders unless he's accidentally peaked too early or gets incredibly lucky.

And watching Fabian solo for 40km isn't boring imo.. just watching him TT is fun, you can tell you're watching something unique that no one else can pull off. The excessive watts he puts out flow out of the screen and get me high :D

I think the world wants me to stay in and watch it all seeing as I've just got a few hundred metres out the door on the way to my club run and my chain just broke
