Again, Ryo Hazuki.

If we are to consider Ryo only colombians are an option.
And I suspect his ridicilious bias taps into one of human natures tendencies to react to his attitude with negativity to those who he supports.

Also no real top colombian cyclists.

Therefore close this thread, no cyclist is loved by all.

Colombians are disqualified by the op stipulation that it has to be "top riders";)

If you look closely at my "new thread title", I have purposely omitted the words "top riders" from it :D

I always thought boonen was one of the fans favorite.

Not a big fan myself to be honest. Maybe wouldn't go as far as saying I dislike him, but borderline for me

I haven't read all the pages but did anyone mention Peter Velits as being someone without haters? Also another rider that I don't think has really any haters at all that you might consider adding is Lance Armstrong :p

I'm thinking of becoming an Igor Antón fanboy. He seems okay, no-one else has him, my heart's not really in being a Cav fan and he's been a bit unlucky. Anyone got anything against him that I should know about before I become the newest and most exclusive forum clique?

In all seriousness I'd have to say Moncoutie or Txurruka. Maybe Simon Gerrans is another who could be added, but I guess the method of his MSR win would count against him.

What about Sylvain Chavanel, Tiago Machado or Johnny Hoogerland?

Without wanting to delve too far into it, Jonny was kicked off Rabo CT for irregular blood values.

Forgot about that. I thought it was for testosterone?

That rings a bell now you mention it. Either way, this isn't the place to discuss it, but I think it's acceptable to note that in the context of some having a reason to dislike him.

Yeah... except the people in the back of the peloton when he starts pulling...

Oh and he even takes a crash with optimism, love this interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfiBbZJTx9s

That was the year when he'd do everything to make sure he made it to Paris. Even riding several Ks on some junior-bike and joking that he'd use a tricycle for the last stage if he had to!

Sastre got a few FU posts when he said that those crazy Giro stages were way too dangerous on this very forum.

Sastre has been/is a member of this forum?

Other possible nominees - Flecha, Fédrigo, Ballan, Eisel(possibly too low a profile)

I definitely like "Jan Anton"

(during one of the tour de France stages)

JV: "Hey David (Millar), why do you scottish men wear kilts"
And before Millar had a chance to answer
JV: "Because zippers scare off the sheep.

Allegedly he only got a few groans for his effort;)

That's just weird humour right there, eh?

As some of you might have noticed I don't really dislike anybody. Ricco? Meeh, simply not worth my time!

Bak? Does anyone dislike Lars Bak?

No-one has him? There is a member here called FujiAnton who, I suspect, is a fan of him. I am as well.

I might have said I hated Voigt in this thread, but I don't anymore since he wrote an open letter to the Basque supporters after Pais Vasco last year (which was supposed to be his last time there, but I think this year he rode there again?).
