Good! Maybe RCS can revoke his credentials so he can't come back.

I'm here to tell you - there's *** all wrong with AC's shoulder unless he's taking a shedload of [legal] painkillers.
I've had two broken collarbones and there was no way I was back on the bike the next day let alone riding off the seat.

Breaking bones and dislocating parts of your body aren't quite the same thing.

He didn't break his collarbone. You're right though, if he had he'd be like most other cyclist we see with broken collarbones - he'd abandon.

Contador now at 65-70% to win with the bookies. Surely because of today's savage attack. Or maybe because he has a 3 minute headstart over Porte at the ITT.

We have no idea how much time (if any) Porte will put into Contador in the ITT. I think Porte fans are overestimating Porte's TT advantage over AC.

Lol. You are right. People are talking as if Porte wins the Giro if it's not because his stupidity of getting wheel from other team. On the other hand, I hope Contador doesn't change his tactic, simply to stop people from talking about his fortune to have Porte being penalized. Otherwise, his Giro-Tour legend are going to have 'asterix'.. and all the haters out there will say.. "oh that's because porte got penalized by 2 minutes! Otherwise he would have won it because he took time on Contador in ITT." Coulda, woulda, shoulda .. then.. there you go, this forum is going to debate who drops who to the nauseum just like the chain gate incident!

So contador, pedal to the metal please...!!! Take example from Quintana who finally stomped his authority after the neutralized flag debacle. I really want Contador to win it fair and square by adding more time than 22 seconds to Porte (as if he didn't get mechanical).

I have broken my collarbone 4 times. 2 of those times I carried on riding no problem apart from it feeling a bit sore.
Injurys do get better.
My mate Rob [ giant of a man] has a issue with his shoulder popping out. He has on more than one occasion popped it back in himself "Its one of the most painful things I have seen someone do" the next day he go's about business as usual, Its a sore but he can carry on.
I wish people would stop having a dig and accusing Bertie of being a liar or playing mind games.
Once the climbing starts form will do the talking not words.

I'm tired of this fair and square thing that contador needs to win with more than 2 min. It's ***.

Going by that logic porte needs to dislocate his shoulder twice. And Contador didn't even break a rule, he crashed, just bad luck. Porte broke a rule (punishment was way too harsh though)

Exactly. As long as Bertie drops Porte in the mountains there is no need to waste energy.
He has a tour to race.

He doesn't need to win with more than 2 mins. However, Porte's penalties enable Contador to win the Giro without being stronger than Porte. If he loses time in the TT and cannot drop Porte, people are reasonably going to question whether the strongest guy won.

Of course, if he is serious about the Giro Tour double, he may decline to show he is stronger even when he is, to save energy.

I completely agree with everything you said. But we shouldn't worry, Contador knows what's up, he knows how people will react if he doesn't show who's the strongest for real. He is aware of that, he has already shown in the past how much pride he has.
He stated yesterday "There's still no "boss" (my traduction of dueno) in this Giro" . Which means he knows he has yet to demonstrate who's the best.
The hardest part is still to come.

The last time I broke a collarbone the ends of the bone were 50mm apart so there was no way I could put any pressure on the arm and therefore ride.
A friend of mine broke his radius and ulna, as well as dislocating his elbow - the bones healed but his comeback on the bike was delayed by the elbow. The point is you can't really generalise about injuries.
Alby's injury doesn't look that serious.
