I'm confident of a 10-15 second gain on Froome today from Alberto, I think his form is much better than anyone suspects. With the stature of the competition in this tour he's purposely flying under the radar. Froome in veiled comments is writing him off, that's just what Alberto wanted to happen.
Don't think he'll take time, but I would not at all be surprised if he can follow Froome.

As expected Froome wanted to eliminate them all here, don't know why Movistar helped them with that. Conntador now needs a coup d'etat straight out of miracle land. But nothing is impossible he's a legend.

I think Movistar was hoping to drop everyone but Froome, and if possible him. Quintana wasn't good enough to hold his wheel, but at least this way he'll be very close to TJVG in third place after today.

Yates, Gallopin, Rolland finishing almost a minute ahead of Contador.

Again, Froome is great but Alberto is completely off once again. It's incredible to be so under his usual level. How can he lose so much time, it's beyond me.

Tour is over for me anyway, he is worse than he was in 2013, literally. Why did he even show up, I don't know.

Thing is he didn't even have a very bad day...there is simply nothing you can do about that. Just unlucky he didn't drop with the likes of Piti an TJ. Climbed incredibly on his own.

Not gonna be a fun Tour. Quitting and going to the Vuelta is no longer an option I think. Dunno about next year. Quintana indicates to me that Contador might have a shot at 100%

He won the Giro at least...

Exactly what I was thinking. Of course I hate to see him get beaten, but it would be much more painful to watch if this had been his one goal for the season. Again still very bummed, but much more palatable.

El Pistolero got smoked properly today. The shattered fanboy reaction is priceless. Face it, Dude's won his last TdF. Maybe he could win one of the lesser Tours in the future.

Funny how you always appear out of nowhere just to bash Contador and his fans, your life must be very sad..

The double Dream is dead :(

Hope he at least can create fireworks as in 2011, and not being almost anonymous as 2013 :(

What? Fireworks? In this kind of form, all we're gonna see is Contador being dropped again, again and again. He can't even attack, he can't do anything.

Froome..............

He must go for Giro-Vuelta next year.

Re: Re:

I would hope he quits this Tour to spare us (and himself) the pain, but sadly i think he wont do it as he feels he made some sort of promise to Ivan yesterday.

Looks as if 2013 has become 2015 as the new benchmark.

Now, i must vomit.
