Don´t know if it´s smart to end his season after Lombardia... Peking would have given him the chance to get some race days in, looking to 2013.

But as it seems, he´s one of those who don´t really need too many race days, as we´ve seen in the Vuelta. Nevertheless, he probably will start his 2013 campaign in San Luis in January, I bet.

Quick delete it some people are waiting for high lights they don't want to know the winner! (Hitch)

That was in a chat room which specifically says -"Do not post cycling spoilers. Use the designated chatroom to discuss ongoing races"

Im not asking that the entire internet keeps the winner of the race a secret, just that 1 space which is specifically designed as a result free bubble.

Ah. I registered there but don't feel like going to a forum set up by a website called teamskyfans.

There is nothing wrong with TSF.com. The owner used to be a very active member here, I don't know why he is not active anymore. It is a genuine cycling site.

Could well be...

I know that Dimspace used to post here btw.
Dim (aka Dimspace, aka TeamSkyFans) runs the place. he's very active there, as well as on twitter -- so i don't think he has the time to come here anymore.

He seems to legit love the giro, and way more than the tour but yea he pretty much has to ride the tour.

But I know he'll try the double again.

Just out of respect for Pantani ;)

Afterwards he said - mi secunda nacionalidad. His interview was a real struggle though, i heard a lot more spanish in there than the one with for example purito, though he was trying italian. I think he said though that lombardia will be hard for him as its a descent finish.

In 2011 before the Giro he said that it was the race he most enjoyed or something along those lines. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him in the future going for the triple GT win.

Yeah Purito's italian sounded almost immaculate.
Contador was the typical "spanish but I'll throw a couple italian words in there", but understandable anyway :D

He also said he's tired because he hasn't stopped from Eneco on and he was already training hard before that.

bfd .... call me when u win a monument
completely agree. i will repeat this once more the man can win gt and shorter stage races, but a monument will be like adding, a bit of salt rosemary and pepper to a nice steak...(not that kind of steak).
