Still trying to figure out what I think about his going to Trek. Taking Jesus is just ridiculous IMO he has so little use. I haven't heard any other rider mentioned, just De Jong and maybe Basso. I'm not attached to Specialized or Trek so the bike is irrelevant to me. As long as they give him the support he needs I'm okay with it.

Hopefully Bjarne will have a WT team in 2018, that would be ideal :)

I do know if Frank gets renewed I will Laugh every time I see him doming for Alberto :). But I can't see why Trek would renew him.

at this pace Alberto will be doming for him ;)

We aren't taking about this year but next. And even a badly injured Alberto is better than Frank! So quit your trolling.

not trolling is a joke, where's your sense of humor! chill

My tolerance for juvenile jokes left me 60+ years ago.

Im glad people at Tinkoff said everything was talked and sorted out because today, once again, Alberto is alone with Kreuziger riding for himself and that polish man not giving a f***

You have to miss Rogers and Basso. They were far from their best level Last year but they were loyal and more importantly they cared for AC. With these 2 guys on the team nobody would dare not to do what he was told. Id take giro 2015 team over this one anyday.

That gave me a heart attack when they showed 35 (who is that?) falling off the back. Looked just like a spent Contador. Glad to see that the actual Contador looks great.

He's not looking too great IMO but he's hanging in there at least :)

Contador finito. Kreuziger has to ride his own race. It's his future that's on the line.

Its officially over for Alberto. His best years are truly behind him now. Oh well. He will become an "also ran" no doubt when he joins Trek.

Kinda of unlucky for Contador, he was the last guy to drop from that group.

If he could have held out one more km, he was still there but ok idk how he feels.

Does he get better? Then he should stay in the tour imo, otherwise just abandon

If Contador stays in the race, he'll have to chase stage wins. And I suspect he'll have to lose even more time before they'll risk letting him getting away for stage wins. That's definitely not the most familiar situation for him.

The Dauphine showed he was a notch below his best, and now with whatever injuries he's nursing, is this the worst he's been for Le Tour?

He can still win stages like this with short medium porcentage climbs are not his thing, nor are descent. He will crush froome and nairo in da ventoux, tt and last week.

Quintana and Froome's attacks were very weak today. The only rider dropped was Alberto who cant accelerate from that crash. Just like in 2014, I cant help myself but think it was in the bag had he not crashed...
