Just a thought - does anyone think he'll avoid that celebration? Especially after the London attack. Could be a tad inappropriate.
Yep, now or another story of underperforming relative to expectations on MTFs.Escarabajo said:Time to shine!
There are no reasons for not doing it, so get it over with.
Not a bad day, its simply just his levelMatteo. said:ouch ouch, very disappointing.
Dropped like a stone from valverde. and then he followed with fatigue a Froome just returned to races.
No excuses, today is bad day

Piti and Froome are two of my least favorite riders, so I'm not too happy they beat Berto. But Gaudu's performance was exciting. I feel sad for Tejay!Carols said:3rd is Not goodDisappointing ride
The only solace I can find is that Bala won. It pays to have more than one favorite.

It's March! Come on.Forever The Best said:Not good today. He has some big chances of finishing the season without a single win. At least he wasn't second today though![]()
I don't think he will get a stage or GC win in the Tour and he will probably be 2nd or 3rd in Vuelta and some mtn stages will go to the breakaway. Froome will probably be better in the Dauphine and he will probably get beaten by Roglic or Alaphilippe in PV :Neutral:LaFlorecita said:It's March! Come on.Forever The Best said:Not good today. He doesn't do too many race days. In fact when you compare his race days per season to other riders he has very few. OTOH, he races 3 big stage races in the span of a month and he races them hard. Which is why I'm a bit worried about Pais Vasco, it's hard to see him recover in just one week.Scarponi said:No other rider puts in a 55km effort alone to win a race on top of stages he pulled in cross winds the flat. Valverde and froome were chilling at home. Contador does too many race days imo
Yeah "probably" this, "probably" that, just wait and see. If were at the end of June and he still has no wins, you can start worrying.Forever The Best said:I don't think he will get a stage or GC win in the Tour and he will probably be 2nd or 3rd in Vuelta and some mtn stages will go to the breakaway. He can start worrying whenever he wants to. May I remind you of those countless of posts that you've made stating how nervous you were this would be a year of 2nd places? We all know he hardly is winning any road stages at this point, so.LaFlorecita said:Yeah "probably" this, "probably" that, just wait and see. I don't think he'll race the Vuelta anyway.Forever The Best said:Also I think racing Abu Dhabi was extremely unnecessary if Contador will also race the Vuelta after the Tour.
