because all Contador fans have real difficulties with understanding of real GT relation of forces nowadays.

Really??? Do you really think it's fair to categorize all Contador fans as such?

I dont mean win it,but why not try it

Airstream isn't the best person to respond to any questions regarding Contador and discussing his mindset. I presume his lack of motivation may have to do with his experience with doping saga. Imagine if he actually did try it and finish on the podium on all 3. The doping talk would be incessant. I suspect the experience has clipped his wings/ambitions a bit. Maybe once he gets his GT totals back up (I suspect he wants a Giro and Tour to replace the ones officially stripped) and things have calmed down he'll have more interest. That's my uneducated guess.

I'm just kidding. I really like Miburo's stance actually, so to speak, 'I see through rose-colored glasses and don't disturb me' :)

Yes I know he is not,but I dont mind discuss with him.And I think your thoughts are reasonable,I agree that triple would be very bad for doping related talks:(

Guys, can you help me and give me a link where I can buy Contador's riding sunglasses from Vuelta 2012 with the yellow frames and what brand exactly are they?

For you, his fans, this is the case. However, my opinion is far less radical than your overly optimistic one.

I don't say to win 2 GT in a row is impossible. It is a matter of super rider who has to have an overwhelming edge both at climbing and TT. Such a rider should win the 1st out 2 GTs with a lot in the tank for the second one and a rider like that doesn't exist today. Nowadays no one is able to win a GT on a pure class. Everyone needs good and very good shape. 3, fans can exemplarily continue to remember about the 2010 Tour when he was allegedly in bad form. I agree possibly that form wasn't perfect, but it was very very good. If one does not understand that, perhaps one does not understand the main thing — how hellishly tight and brutal contention is.

As to 3 GT's, I think Contador said about that just for fun.

OK. What should he have felt if talks started? Grievance towards people who dare doubt in his cleanliless?

No. The way he dodged the question on teledeportes im pretty sure he has no intention of doing it.

He should at least be at the start and target some stages, since 2013 is his best chance ever to become WC RR, depending if he wants to win it ofc.:D
Fiesole is perfect for climbers to make the difference and riding the Vuelta is a must for RR contenders on a heavy course.

Or is he already planning his usual two month break after his Tour victory?

Contador doesn't enter races on a wing and a prayer. He sits down before the season and plans everything. And he goes full out for all those things. I would love for contador to target worlds and think he is being stupid not.to but unfortunately 6 months off post July looks like the way it will go.

I hope Bertie has a nice build up for le Tour, skipping the Giro and if he feels he has enough left after it tries the Vuelta. He will Only ride the Vuelta to Win it so he has to feel he can!

at the Vuelta pres Contador said he will take San Luis easier than last year, with the intention of arriving at his main objectives on form, so maybe well see him coming in a little bit back like at Criterium 2010.

He did say last year he felt bad and overweight and still won, but if hes saying hell take it easier he will probably take it easier.

jesus christ. There is a reason I hate Andy. Wtf is this Alberto?

He really doesn't care anymore does he? It seems like he really has lost his motivation like someone mentioned a few days ago.

I agree, its not bright, but lets wait for him to get racing. Maybe he will be there at San luis afterall. Or maybe he will suck at San Luis but get on from for Oman and tirreno and crush those.

At the end of the day, this season, id settle for Contador to have 0 cq points on June 29th, so long as there are a round 600 coming his way on July 21st.

Couldn't it be the influence of Bjarne? I recall that, when Alberto came to Saxo, Bjarne gave him a full calender with lots of races in which he could prepare for other races. He told Riis:"Bjarne, I don't need that, give me two weeks and I can race". Maybe Riis now convinced him to do it his way.
