The People's Champion, definitely. But I'd say he's even more than that.

Good grief, that violent yellow color does not suit Froome's pale skin tones. The French clearly mean for it to be worn by Southern Europeans :D :p

On topic, I'm not ready to write AC off yet. Next year will be better. But maybe needs to re-focus on some different goals and not hang everything on the damned Tour. However, it is going to be interesting how the races get divided up between Kreuz, Majka, Roche, etc, especially after seeing that bit about Roche and AC at next year's Vuelta.

And it's going to be interesting to see what happens with Saxo and getting a 2nd sponsor or not and if someone else fills in for Riis next year. Kind of a lot of questions about the team right now that need ironing out. It's like AC's destiny to have strange team issues throughout his career.

Hey that's a cool picture!

I hope that both Alberto and Andy will kick-*** again in 2014, I almost miss there rivalry in the mountains..

That isn't what he says but let's be honest Roche as well as other GC guys on Saxo like Majka and Kreuziger should be given a chance to ride for themselves. And Contador won't be much more than a top 5 candidate anyway after going all out in the Tour.

well alberto is right now close to nicholas roche's level so the irishman has all the rights to be upset

Alberto is close to Valverde/Purito level & those guys beat Roche hands down in the Vuelta after doing the TDF. And if those guys can podium/come close to podium after TDF, Alberto surely can. Yes all of then should be given their chances if their legs are better than Alberto's like in this year's TDF for Kreuziger. But i seriously doubt that Roche can even come close to Contador level which is the reason why he is probably upset as well.

“I consider Il Lombardia to be my first race of 2014,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport. “I want to shelve this 2013 season as soon as possible. It’s been a strange season. It began with some errors in my race programme and then it continued with too many commitments."

“I’ll give you an example," he added. "The week after Lombardy, I have a lot of commitments with sponsors – on Monday, I’ll be in Monza, Tuesday in Zurich, Wednesday in Madrid, Thursday in Paris and Friday in London. More like a ping pong ball than a cyclist.”

Yikes
