I so hope they can climb Vallter 2000 tomorrow. We need to see if Contador can beat Froome on a proper climb to and pretty please drop Purito and win the race, Berto? :)

Do you think he can drop Purito?

Dropping Froome looks not very difficult for him.

Tomorrow is the proper test, as you say let's hope it's on! I have a feeling Contador will do it tomorrow. Froome looks to have lost a little race form due to his minor injury.

You can't out-Purito Purito, Alberto.

But also, this wasn't the right climb for him. Tomorrow a good chance!

Knowing the fact that Contador stayed within 4 sec while he got blocked which cost like 1 sec you can argue he did really well.

Contador says the Cold was worse than the expected and that it blocked them all a bit, and that the climb was easier than they had expected. And that today was about "controlling" before tomorrow, which will be much harder.

Yea, when Froome went I saw Alberto try to accellerate on the left, but Caruso blocked his way. Unfortunately the camera didn't allow to see how much that held him up.

I suspect that he lost just enough momentum to not be able to react optimally to Puerito's winning move.

Chapeau to Rodriquez nonetheless.
