He's more confidently talking about Giro than the Tour.
Maybe he'll skip the Tour at the end, who knows.
I think he'll wait to see how his and his rivals' seasons develop and make the final decision.

Looks like he's realized winning the double is more difficult than he thought it is.

Where did Contador say he will win both GT's? Ofcourse he is aware riding the Giro will reduce his chance of winning the TdF. He's going to try it anyways.

He realised this the moment he said he will ride the Giro. Ofcourse by that time he hoped his main rivals would ride the Giro as well, but I think he was pretty sure most of them wouldn't.

Thanks for the video links LaFlo. I agree with Kwibus. A list like that should be readily and easily accessible...as a sticky as he said for our (Contador admirers) viewing pleasure. It's always entertaining watching him at his best.

Was just watching stage 17 2011 Tour highlights...reminded me - Has Sammy Sanchez found a team for next year? It would have been cool if he and AC had been able to ride together....obviously that won't happen now...

Saw the video too. I think he seems sensibly sanguine. He doesn't underestimate the task, but doesn't think that's a good reason not to try it.
