Indeed, it's a bit easier than I thought. The finish is about 4 Km after the top and the climbs are not steep enough.

He'll have to try his best at 2013.

if you want to beat froomey, then you need every watt you can store.
so giro-tour double,i find it impossible right now for alberto

IMO Schleck will be better than Froomey in the mountains.CF doesnt have the accleration like Alberto,he said so(and we saw that a bit in stage with Gallina summit) and I believe him.But the main competitor against The Great One is still CF cos of TT

God damn it. Easier than Arenberg? Really.

That was a pretty crap race with just a few hundred m of cauberg for every 15km raced.

At least here, that first climb looks longish. Probably not steep but hopefully enough to stop those german ****s neutralizing the race for absolutely no sane reason.

Christ. I mean i like froome too but every post is how "froomey" will destroy everyone and break ascent records for every mountain and smash the land speed record in a tt.

Its becoming like iZnoGouD with Machado here.

one thing is certain: alberto fears froomey, mainly because he has no idea what his limits are. never exposed them in a grand tour where he was 100% team leader and 100% fresh and fit.

be afraid

be very afraid

I am afraid that with Contador's remark in support of LA that i will no longer support or care about where and when he rides. I find him to be highly suspect.

I'd rather someone acknowledge that it happened at all (even if that means supporting Lance) then go down the Sky route saying "What? Really?!".

Apologies for going off topic.

And that is worse than this Contador thread ? Froome is an unknown quantity until he leads a team into his first GT for the year. I agree with Froome about the route though. I was expecting the Tour organisers to go all out in the mountains. Some good stages but not what I was expecting. Expect Contador and Riis to test Froome tactically re the Vuelta especially if he is having trouble putting time into Froome in the mountains.

Oh,Its not that bad like with Machado,Mollema or JTL :D

But I agree with previous post that Alberto 'fears'(I dont think its true,he tries to be kind:D) him because he doesnt know his limits. As I said,I dont think CF can follow his 'full gas' attacks.IMO he will stay with Alberto on Pailhares and Ax3,but the massive battle will start on Ventoux:cool:

Wow that is a pretty weird TT course.
It will be pretty close to see if Contador can make up the time he lost on the flat on that last 5km climb.

Well the flat isn't that long, about 30-32 km and Alberto can perfectly handle such a distance. The climb has 17% parts.
