Do not overpaint. I was calling to using a man who could scare Сontador properly in case his naughty hands again will stretch to BB's. But I don't know. Probably, french prison is a place he's gonna prepare for himself.

The idea of the Foundation has materialized thanks to the personal commitment of Alberto Contador, who thus wants offer to a new generation of cyclists the opportunity to have the best means available, without forgetting their education, key in this category, between 17 and 18 years old. “We are thrilled with this project”, says Alberto Contador, “because we are working for the future of our sport, which is something we love. We want to support the quarry cyclist in a particularly difficult time in which many teams and many races are disappearing”.

An U-23 team sponsored by Contador?

Apparently it was Alberto's idea and he approached José Luis de Santos. A lot of sponsors of Saxo will also sponsor this team, I don't know if it's U23 apparently it's especially for 17-18 year old riders

That is very cool and awesome to hear!

And yes, the junior team for 2013 and a male U-23 team for 2014 and probably another one for females as well :)

It appears that Contador will only ride the 2013 Florence WC, if he rides the Vuelta. If not, he will wait till the 2014 Ponferrada WC. Hasn't the latter one been determined as not being too challenging for a rider like him? Meaning, it's not as difficult as expected for him to have a change of winning it in 2014? Which of the two is a better option for him? Just curious :)

Ponferrada tt course is 30 km flat, then a 8 km mountain, the rr course isn't that challenging, not high mountain stuff. I think next year's RR course is better for him because it's harder.

Padel

I had never heard anything about padel before and I'm a big tennisfan.
Seems to be a mix of squash and tennis.

Nice to see Alberto relaxing :)

I think the "raquet" is solid unlike tennis or squash that uses strings. I remember something called "Palla"

There's no way Contador will ride the Tour and the Vuelta next year. So I guess this is his way of saying that he has no plans to ride the 2013 WC. No surprise really.
