Parrulo said:didn't i tell you to stop bickering with eachother? if you continue like this i will start giving out some bans.
Parrulo said:no catalunya?
that's surprising. . .
although not a "true" stage race, Criterium International taking place in Corsica is a nice one allowing some riders who are good at ITT and climbing to show off. It would be a great race to have won for Alberto.. So I am glad he is goingpastronef said:I guess he wants to ride in Corsica, to see the Tour stages roads. and catalunya ends on the criterium international week end

Carols said:Looks like he wants to try 2 GTs in 2013!!!! I hope he doesn't go for the Giro; save it for le Tour. And if there is enough in the tank afterwards go to the Vuelta!!

Parrot23 said:Double post, but here goes.... Looks like Contador and Wiggins will both be racing Tirreno this year.
Some of the walls in Tirreno are probably too short for Bertie and too steep for Wiggo. May be too early in the year for Bertie, but he'll have a lot to prove vs. Wiggo, who should be at his 95% (if like last year).
Thoughts?
LaFlorecita said:...he is more explosive than Wiggo so he should beat Wiggo there.
Parrot23 said:Yes, will be interesting to see how Wiggo copes. Shane Sutton says he's working on Brad's ability to go with short surges on climbs. (Can't find the link; sorry.)
Also, there's Evans. Think he had a great Tirreno the year he won the Tour. If he's determined to set right what went wrong last year, I hope he's in the mix too.

ferryman said:My immediate thought is that Bertie has diiddly, nada, nothing, nowt to prove Vs Wiggins as it has never been and probably never will be a genuine discussion between the two.
